What the badge looks like, and what it doesn't tell you
Members can add an ID check to their profile whenever they like. It's optional, so treat the badge as a good sign, not a free pass.
- It means the member matched a photo ID to a live selfie, checked by LEM Verify.
- It doesn't mean their age, job, relationship status or anything else they wrote has been checked.
- No badge doesn't mean fake. Plenty of genuine people simply haven't added it yet.

Why "just singles" needs saying
Anyone who has spent a few months on the big dating apps knows the problem. Some people are attached and don't say so. Some are "just seeing what's out there" with no intention of meeting. A few aren't who their photos say at all. You can lose weeks finding out, and the hardest part is that it makes you doubt the genuine people too.
Just Singles is built around the idea in its name. It's a dating site for single adults in the UK and US who want a relationship, and everything on it, from the checks to the guides, is there to help those people find each other and spot the ones who are pretending. What we can't promise, and what we do instead
No dating site can check whether someone is single, and we won't pretend otherwise. What members write about themselves, such as age, job and relationship status, isn't checked. Anyone who tells you every profile on their site is verified is selling something.
What we can do is give you tools that make honesty easy to show and dishonesty harder to hide:
